Terms of Use

These terms cover the Lugas desktop app and this website. Lugas is made by Anas (Panduan Coding) in Indonesia. By using Lugas, you agree to them. They’re short on purpose.

Where Lugas is now

Lugas is in private beta. Beta builds are shared directly with testers, aren’t signed by Apple or Microsoft, and may have bugs. The license terms below start to apply when Lugas goes on sale through Gumroad.

Your license

When you buy Lugas:

  • You pay once. There’s no subscription.
  • You get a personal license to install and use Lugas on up to 3 of your own devices.
  • You can’t resell, share, or redistribute your license key or the app.
  • The app stays ours. You get the right to use it, not ownership of the software.

If you need to move your license to a new computer and you’ve used all 3 devices, contact us and we can reset it.

Your AI account (bring your own key)

Lugas doesn’t include AI. It uses your own OpenRouter account and key. That means:

  • You’re responsible for your OpenRouter account, its key, and what it costs. You pay OpenRouter directly. Lugas adds no fee.
  • The app shows cost estimates. They’re estimates. The real charge is whatever OpenRouter bills you.
  • OpenRouter’s terms apply, and so do the terms of the model provider you choose.
  • We suggest a separate key with a spending limit for Lugas.

AI feedback is coaching

Transcripts, filler counts, scores, and tips come from AI models. They can be wrong: a missed filler, an off timestamp, a tip that doesn’t fit. Use them as practice feedback, not as a professional assessment. Don’t rely on them for decisions that matter, like hiring or grading.

Your recordings are yours

You own your recordings, transcripts, and reports. They’re stored on your computer. We don’t receive them and claim no rights to them. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent when you analyze a take.

Keeping backups is up to you. Lugas has a backup export in Settings → Storage.

Using Lugas fairly

  • Only record people who agreed to it. Lugas is built for practicing your own speaking.
  • Don’t use Lugas to break the law or someone else’s rights.
  • Don’t try to get around the license check, or to resell or repackage the app.

No warranty

Lugas is provided as is. We work to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it will always work, be free of bugs, or suit your needs. AI providers, OpenRouter, and your system can change in ways that affect the app.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, lost data, lost recordings, or charges from OpenRouter or model providers. If we are liable for something, our total liability is limited to what you paid for your Lugas license.

Refunds

Purchases go through Gumroad. Refunds follow the refund policy on the Gumroad product page. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the license stops working for new analyses. Your recordings and history stay on your computer and stay readable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Lugas after a change, the new terms apply.
